‘The Spoilt Child’
A spoiled child who just gets whatever he or she wants, whenever she wants it, is never happy because desires can never be satisfied in full because as soon as you satisfy a desire, another desire will come and that desire cannot remain satisfied for long. A child that’s not spoiled learns to just adjust to whatever I have or don’t have and learns to be satisfied like that. But a spoiled child “No, I must have this” and if you don’t get it, miserable and when such a spoiled child grows up they could never be satisfied as adults because if things don’t get their way, it’s very disturbing, anger, depression. – Radhanath Swami.
